Critical dynamics fueling the Global IT Services and BPO (outsourcing business processes) Market in the Government

The most exciting is to see that, a variety of IT initiatives are currently under way in a large number of government organizations across the world. For these initiatives, it is obvious that, organizations inter alia engage service delivery platforms, and services providers to deploy software and provide the related support.

Cloud technology is transforming outsourcing business processes, and BPO adopters can gain on-demand and instant access to applications and eliminate the need to invest in IT infrastructure. Cost reduction, reliability, scalability, and agility are some of the advantages associated with adopting a cloud-based BPO service.

However, concerns about data security, reduced ROI, high initial investment, and the high cost of upgrades, maintenance, and acquisition of a new project represent key constraints.

Based on this set of realities, it is indispensable to recall that, due to a high level of information sharing and migrating large volumes of data generated from virtualization, mobility, and cloud, government agencies have to come up with better cloud strategies in order to improve the entire collaboration process.
