The world is witnessing a very competitive environment when it comes to the global intercontinental ballistic missile.
Vendors are competing on basis
of cost, product quality, reliability, and aftermarket service.
Technovio reveals that, Mergers and acquisitions, along with increased
collaboration with alliance partners around the world would drive the global
ICBM market.
Vendors like General Dynamics and Lockheed
Martin are focus primarily on the
implementation of lightweight materials, more of electric technologies, and
robust systems.
One can also observe that, such acquisitions and mergers would strengthen
the position of the companies in the market and enable direct access to the
local customers.
“Government organizations such
as the DOD and MOD certify the ICBMs of every vendor. They encourage the
development of such missile systems as they add a caliber to the ongoing
military operations. As a result, the vendors invest in creating new,
cost-efficient, and effective ICBMs for use by the armed forces, globally,” said Abhay Singh, a lead analyst at
Technavio for defense sector.
