Executives, businesses and organizations of all sizes in Australia are increasingly aware of stakes and business-value related to Big Data and analytics.
According to IDC, the ANZ region ranks as the most mature in Asia
Pacific for adoption of Big Data and analytics with Australian organisations
embracing associated technologies in a range of scenarios from optimization of
supply chain, improving customer experience, to increasing crop yield and
quality.
One can also observe that, data driven Intelligence alongside data
governance and security have risen to be top priorities for Australian
executives.
Big Data, Analytics and Cloud respectively are most
likely to provide competitive edge to organizations.
In effect, the Australia’s vendor ecosystem is evolving. IDC reveals that, although the large traditional players continue to lead the momentum
in terms of revenue size, it's the smaller ones that continue to grow faster
and are quickly catching up.
