When it comes to the Eastern Europe OTT TV and Video Market, the region is still at its early stages with exciting perspectives, as several platforms are launched, Russia and Poland continue to behave extraordinary-well, and revenue from the industry increase.

According to Digital TV Research, OTT TV and video revenues for 18 countries will reach $1,976 million in 2021; up from only $26 million recorded in 2010 and $454 million in 2015.

Research and Markets’ Eastern Europe OTT TV & Video Forecasts report states that Russia accounted for half the region's OTT revenues in 2015 and will remain at around this level for the next five years. 

The firm also predicts that, SVOD (subscription video on-demand) will become the region's largest OTT revenue source in 2016. Russia and Poland are on an exciting curve to lead the momentum.
