Key dynamics related to the State of the Cloud and Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) in 2016

From Security and privacy as the critical inhibitors, and the need to enforcing consistent policies aligned to meet compliance, and business needs to budget constraints, the challenges, stakes and trends related to the Cloud and Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) are huge with great potentialities.

C-level business and tech executives, IT Managers, and Systems/Network Administrators and Engineers and directors are increasingly aware of this reality. As the result the industry is shifting from concerns to faster deployment of the technologies and processes involved.

For many within the industry, optimal SDDC strategies and deployment can quantifiably drive up virtualization ratios and server optimization.
For those who are unfamiliar, the benefits of virtualized and cloud infrastructures include: performance, productivity, agility, flexibility lower cost, and more.

According to the HyTrust study looking at industry issues and trends, 65% of the respondents predict faster deployment in 2016, while 62% anticipate increased adoption. About 51% say they will see greater tangible benefits and a quantifiable ROI, such as enhanced efficiency, agility, flexibility and provisioning. Nearly half, 49%, see greater adoption of network virtualization, while even more, 53%, say the same about storage virtualization.
